Which Compote:Any compote
Ingredients:600ml double cream, 150g caster sugar, 2 large lemons( zest & juice),
- Place the double cream and the sugar into a large pan over a low heat and bring to the boil slowly. Boil for 3 minutes then remove from the heat and allow to cool.Add the lemon juice and zest and whisk well.
- Place an inch deep measure of your chosen Clotilde’s Fruit Compote at the base of each of six large serving glasses. Pour the lemon cream mixture into the glasses and leave to set in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
- Serve with any of Clotilde’s fruit Compotes. Varieties include: Apple & Lemon, Apple & Orange, Apple & Strawberry, Apple & Raspberry, Apple & Pear, Apple & Blackberry.
